What we collect
When you subscribe to our newsletter we store the email address you give us and the page you subscribed from. When you send a message or a guest post pitch we store the name, email address, website and message you submit. When you leave a comment WordPress stores the comment, the name and email you give, and your IP address.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which articles are read and how people arrive. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising
We may show advertising supplied by third parties such as Google AdSense. Those providers may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings.
If you use the WhatsApp button on this site, the conversation takes place in WhatsApp and is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We keep the messages you send us so we can reply.
How long we keep things
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries and pitches are kept while they are useful and then deleted. Comments are kept indefinitely along with their metadata.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page.
