This page explains how SportNewsInfo decides what to publish, how we check it, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who writes our articles
Every article carries the name of the person who wrote it. We do not publish under a house byline, and we do not publish machine-generated copy as though a person had written it.
Sourcing
Scores, statistics and quotes are taken from the governing body, the club or the broadcaster wherever possible, and we say where a figure came from when it is likely to be disputed. We do not report transfer rumours or injury news as fact on the strength of a single anonymous social media account.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so in a note at the foot of the article, with the date. We do not quietly edit a mistake out of existence. Tell us about an error through the contact page or the WhatsApp button and we will look at it the same day.
Sponsored and guest content
Sponsored articles are labelled at the top of the page. Guest contributions are edited before publication and are subject to the same accuracy standards as our own work. A payment never buys a favourable verdict on a result, a player or a product.
Affiliate links
Where an article contains an affiliate link, it is disclosed in the article. A commission never determines a recommendation.

Comments are moderated. Abuse, spam and anything targeting a person rather than an argument gets removed.
