Guest Post Guidelines — What We Expect
To keep the quality high for our readers (and to give your article the best chance of ranking), please follow these guidelines before submitting:
Content quality:
- Minimum 700 words — long enough to cover a topic properly, short enough to stay engaging
- 100% original writing — not published anywhere else online (infographics and press releases are exceptions)
- Factually accurate, well-researched, and free from plagiarism or AI-generated filler
- Written in clear, readable English — conversational is fine, jargon-heavy is not
Headlines & structure:
- Title should be under 70 characters and immediately tell the reader what they’ll gain
- Use subheadings to break up sections — readers scan before they read
- Include a clear introduction and a strong conclusion or call to action
Links & references:
- Include 2 to 3 outbound reference links to credible sources for supporting facts
- You may include a maximum of 2 links pointing back to your own website or blog
Images:
- Provide at least one high-quality featured image (minimum 1200×628px)
- Ensure you have the rights to use all images you submit
- Additional body images are welcome if they genuinely support the content
Author information:
- Include a short author bio (2–3 sentences about who you are)
- Share your social media links — especially LinkedIn or X (Twitter)
Submission format:
- Submit your article as a Microsoft Word document (.docx) attached to your email
- Write “Guest Content” in the subject line — this helps us process submissions faster
What We Don’t Accept
We turn down submissions that:
- Cover a topic already published on our blog — please search SportNewsInfo before pitching to avoid duplication
- Are off-topic, promotional-only, or add no informational value to readers
- Are AI-generated content passed off as original human writing
- Contain excessive self-promotional links beyond our 2-link policy
- Were previously published elsewhere online (unless it’s a press release or infographic)
How Often Can You Contribute?
As often or as rarely as you like — genuinely. There’s no quota, no monthly commitment, and no pressure. Some of our contributors submit once a week, others once a year. Whether this becomes a regular column or a one-time piece, you’re welcome either way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I submit more than one article at a time?
Yes — you can send multiple pitches or completed articles. We’ll review each one individually.
Do I get paid for contributing?
We currently accept guest posts on a free-to-publish basis in exchange for a do-follow backlink, global readership, and your author byline. Sponsored posts are a separate paid arrangement.
How long before my article goes live?
We review submissions within 2–3 business days. Once approved, articles are usually published within the same week.
Can I republish my article on my own blog after it goes live?
We ask for exclusive first publication. After the article is live on SportNewsInfo, you may share a summary or link back to it — but a full republication would impact both our SEO and yours.
